The process is phototherapy. Just like sunlight signals your body to elevate vitamin D production, the patch works like a mirror reflecting various wavelengths of light back into your body. Your body then responds by increasing various peptides, amino acids and hormones. Each patches signals a different response, all of which activate the body’s innate ability to heal and repair.
